What we do

Seven things, done properly.

Five ways to build something new, and two ways to look after what you’ve already got. Every one has a real price on it — the same numbers the estimator on the front page will give you. Pick the one closest to your problem, or tell us the problem and we’ll say which it is.

01 · Websites

Websites that earn their keep.

A site your customers can actually use, that you can edit yourself, and that turns up when someone searches for what you do.

Who this is for. Trades, consultants, clinics, venues, studios — any business where the site is the shop window rather than the shop.

What usually brings people here

  • The site is slower than the competition
  • You cannot change a word without paying someone
  • It does not say what it costs

The shape of it

Built as static files rather than a heavy content system, so pages arrive almost instantly. An admin panel over the top so you change the words, prices and photos yourself in a browser. Structured so Google understands what you do and where you do it.

Typically from £1,100 – £1,600 + VAT · 6–8 weeks · fixed price agreed before we start

02 · Booking systems

Websites that take bookings while you are working.

Most work goes to whoever replies first. If you are up a ladder or mid-job when the enquiry lands, that is not you.

Who this is for. Anyone whose diary is the business — events, trades, clinics, salons, hire, tuition, photography.

What usually brings people here

  • Enquiries arrive when you cannot answer
  • The diary lives in three places
  • Chasing deposits is a job in itself

The shape of it

A fast website with a booking or enquiry flow wired end to end: availability the customer can see, a form that asks the questions your trade actually needs, card deposits taken on the spot, automatic confirmations and reminders, and one calendar everything writes to.

Typically from £2,500 – £3,500 + VAT · 6–8 weeks · fixed price agreed before we start

03 · Business systems

Systems your business runs on instead of spreadsheets.

The quoting, the scheduling, the invoicing, the bit that currently lives in a spreadsheet and one person's head.

Who this is for. Businesses past the point where off-the-shelf software fits, but nowhere near the point where enterprise software makes sense.

What usually brings people here

  • The spreadsheet has become load-bearing
  • The same information is typed in three times
  • Off-the-shelf nearly fits

The shape of it

Discovery first — a proper look at how the work actually flows, not how an org chart says it does. Then something clickable before anything is really built, so you are reacting to a real thing rather than approving a document. Then built around your process, connected to the tools you already pay for.

Typically from £6,000 – £8,400 + VAT · 8–12 weeks · fixed price agreed before we start

04 · Mobile apps

Mobile apps that actually ship.

On the App Store and Google Play, from one build, with the submission handled — including the parts that usually go wrong.

Who this is for. Businesses where customers or staff need something on their phone that a website cannot do — notifications, offline use, the camera, health data.

What usually brings people here

  • Two apps, two budgets
  • Submission is where projects die
  • Notifications never quite work

The shape of it

One codebase, compiled for both stores and the web. Submission, review responses and store listings handled. Push notifications set up properly across all three platforms — which is genuinely awkward and worth doing once, correctly.

Typically from £10,100 – £14,300 + VAT · 10–14 weeks · fixed price agreed before we start

05 · AI consultancy

AI that gives you your hours back.

Not a chatbot bolted onto the website. A short, paid look at how your business actually runs, a written shortlist of where AI genuinely saves hours — and then the tools built. Small, sharp, and owned by you.

Who this is for. Any business drowning in repeat admin — quoting, chasing, retyping between systems, answering the same twenty questions. If someone copies information from one place to another every day, there is a tool in this for you.

What usually brings people here

  • Everyone says AI, nobody says where
  • The team retypes the same things all day
  • Off-the-shelf AI tools do not fit how you work

The shape of it

It starts with one paid discovery day inside your business — watching how work actually moves, not how the org chart says it does. You leave with a written shortlist of AI opportunities ranked by hours saved against effort to build, including honest reds where AI is the wrong answer. Then we build the winners in two-to-six-week rounds: working tools wired into what you already use, your team trained in plain English, results measured in hours. Everything runs in your own accounts, your data is never used to train anything, and if we would not run it inside our own eight products, we do not ship it to you.

Typically from £3,100 – £4,400 + VAT · 2–6 weeks per tool · fixed price agreed before we start

06 · Website rescue

Websites rescued, not rebuilt.

Slow, hacked, unfindable, or abandoned by whoever built it — most struggling sites don’t need a rebuild, they need a competent, focused week. Fixed price, written diagnosis first, and if a rebuild genuinely is the cheaper answer, we’ll say so and credit the diagnosis against it.

Who this is for. Anyone whose site quietly embarrasses them: it was fine in 2021, the developer has vanished, the plugins multiplied, and now it loads like it’s thinking about it. You don’t need to know what’s wrong — finding out is the first deliverable.

What usually brings people here

  • It loads like it’s thinking about it
  • The person who built it has vanished
  • Google can’t see the point of it

The shape of it

It starts with a written diagnosis: what’s wrong, what it costs you, what fixing it costs, in plain English — not a jargon-fog invoice. Then a focused fix in priority order: speed first, security second, findability third, ownership throughout. Most rescues land between £600 and £1,800 + VAT and take one to three weeks. You get a handover note a future developer will thank you for — and if you want it looked after from there, the care plan takes over from £29 a month + VAT.

Typically from £600 – £900 + VAT · 1–3 weeks · fixed price agreed before we start

07 · Care plans

Websites looked after, properly.

Hosting, security, updates, small changes and a person who answers — from £29 a month + VAT with no fixed term. For everything we build as standard, and after a rescue, for sites we didn’t.

Who this is for. Any business that would rather run itself than run a website. If your current arrangement is “hope nothing breaks”, this is the grown-up version of that plan.

What usually brings people here

  • Nobody is actually watching it
  • Every tiny edit is an invoice
  • The renewal roulette

The shape of it

One monthly price per kind of build, everything in your name, cancel whenever. Hosting and monitoring, security updates, backups tested rather than assumed, small content changes within five working days, and a human who answers — the same people who built it, or rescued it. No ticket queue, no account manager.

Typically from £29 a month + VAT · ongoing · cancel monthly · fixed price agreed before we start

Where a £2,500 build actually goes

The number nobody breaks down. A representative booking-system build:

Design & build — the craft days46%
Booking, payments & calendar plumbing22%
Content shaping, testing, launch12%
Tools, licences, first-year hosting6%
Margin — what keeps the lights on14%

Shown because nobody else will show you theirs. Representative, not an invoice — your proposal itemises your actual project.

Not sure which?

Describe what is annoying you and we will tell you which of these it is — or that it is none of them, and who to ring instead.
